16th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 24 October 2023, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered in detail a number of bills on the agenda of the First Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2023.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the five amendments submitted by MP Marko Ristic to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Employees in Autonomous Provinces and Local Self-Government Units.
The Committee accepted none of the four amendments submitted by the MPs to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Constitutional Court and proposed that the National Assembly reject them.

The Committee also considered in detail the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Protection of the Right to a Trial within a Reasonable Time, submitted by the Government, accepted five of the eight amendments the MPs had submitted to it and proposed that the National Assembly accept them.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Vladimir Djukanovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dijana Radovic, Dubravka Kralj, Bratimir Vasiljevic, Milica Nikolic, Bojan Torbica, Andrijana Vasic, Jovan Palalic and Djordje Todorovic.
