16th Sitting of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee

At the sitting held on 6 July 2023, the members of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Sectoral Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the European Commission Setting Out Provisions for the Management and Implementation of Union Financial Assistance to Serbia Under the Rural Development Programme of the Instrument For Pre-Accession Assistance (IPARD III), submitted by the Government.

The Bill was presented by representative of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Jamina Miljkovic and the Committee accepted it after a debate.

The Committee went on to consider the situation concerning infectious diseases in the Republic of Serbia and the region in domestic and wild animals, with a special focus on the African swine fever, presented by the Head of the Veterinary Directorate of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Milos Petrovic.

Following a discussion, the Committee formulated conclusions on the considered item on the agenda.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Marijan Risticevic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Milija Miletic, Momir Stojilkovic, Milosav Milojevic, Dr Nenad S. Mitrovic, Branko Vukajlovic, Milica Obradovic, Nikola Bokan, Dejan Ignjatovic, Ilo Mihajlovski, Ivan Karic, MA Akos Ujhelyi and Milovan Jakovljevic.
