15th Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 8 December 2022, the members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues considered the Decree of the Republic Electoral Commission on the allocation of an MP’s term of office for the purpose of filling vacant seats at the National Assembly to Bratimir Vasiljevic, Milosav Milojevic and Marko Ristic.

Having reviewed the Decree of the Republic Electoral Commission and certificates on the election of MPs Bratimir Vasiljevic and Milosav Milojevic, elected from the Electoral List ALEKSANDAR VUCIC – Together We Can Do Anything, and MP Marko Ristic elected from the Electoral List MILICA DJURDJEVIC STAMENKOVSKI – Serbian Party Oathkeepers, and ascertained that the data on the election of the MP are identical to the ones in the Decree of the Republic Electoral Commission, the Committee proposed that the National Assembly verify the newly-elected MP’s term of office.

The Committee also reviewed the resignation tendered to the post of MP by Arpad Fremond, ascertaining that this situation falls under Article 131, paragraph 1, item 6 of the Law on Election of MPs according to which resignation is listed as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office before the expiry of the term they were elected for, and proposed that the National Assembly note the termination of the abovementioned MP’s term of office.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Milenko Jovanov, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dr Ugljesa Mrdic, Aleksandar Mirkovic, Veroljub Matic, Ana Miljanic, Djordje Komlenski, Sandra Bozic, Dunja Simonovic Bratic, Janko Veselinovic, Zivota Starcevic and Nikola Dragicevic.
