15th Meeting of European Union-Serbia Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee

We would like to inform you that a the 15th meeting of the European Union-Serbia Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee (SAPC) will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, 20 and 21 June 2023, in the Small Hall of the National Assembly House.

The meeting will be opened by SAPC co-chairs Marinika Tepic, Head of the National Assembly delegation, and Alessandra Moretti, Head of the European Parliament delegation.

There will also be keynote speeches by Tanja Miscevic, Minister of European Integration on behalf of the Serbian Government; H.E. Mr Emanuele Giaufret, Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia on behalf of the EU, and H.E. Annika Ben David, Swedish Ambassador to Serbia on behalf of the Swedish Presidency of the EU Council.

In the course of the meeting the participants will discuss the state-of-play of the EU-Serbia pre-accession talks; Negotiation Cluster 1 with focus on freedom of the media, freedom of expression, violence in society including violence against women; strengthening and supervisory role of the parliament in the context of EU integration; Belgrade-Pristina dialogue; alignment with the Common Foreign and Security Policy and economic growth.

Following the meeting, the co-chairs will address the media.
