14th session of the Committee on Defence and Security
At its fourteenth session, the Committee on Defence and Security discussed the Bill on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2005, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

The session was attended by the Defence Budget Advisor at the Ministry of Finance, Radisa Djordjevic, who also explained the way the assets earmarked for defence were to be distributed.
Assistant to the Minister of the Interior, Suzana Sulajic, informed members of the Committee of the Ministry’s financial plans for the coming year, underlining that the Ministry agreed with the distribution of assets in 2005 as foreseen by the Bill on the Budget.
Snezana Filipovic, representative of the Security and Information Agency, informed the Committee that the Agency endorsed the Bill.
The Budget Bill was endorsed in principle and in particular.
The Committee accepted the invitation extended by the Correctional Services Directorate at the Ministry of Justice to visit a correctional facility.
It was agreed that a Committee delegation, whose members are to be designated at a later date, would attend the Cetinje Parliamentary Forum, to be held in the Montenegrin town of Cetinje from 28 to 30 November 2004.
The session was chaired by the Committee’s chairman, Milorad Mircic.
