14th Sitting of the European Integration Committee

At the sitting held on 8 May 2025, the members of the European Integration Committee considered the Report on the Republic of Serbia’s EU Accession Negotiations during Hungary’s presidency (July-December 2024), submitted by the Government.

The Report was presented by Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starovic, followed by a debate in which the Committee members commented said Report.

Following the debate the Committee members adopted the Report on the Republic of Serbia’s EU Accession Negotiations during Hungary’s presidency (July-December 2024) and proposed that the National Assembly consider and adopt it.

The Committee also considered the Conclusion accepting the National Programme for Adoption of the EU Acquis Communautaire for the third and fourth quarter of 2024, submitted by the Government.

The Committee then selected a delegation, comprising Milan Radin, Ana Jakovljevic and Elvira Kovacs, to take part in the 73rd plenary meeting of the Conference of Parliamentary Committees for Union Affairs of Parliaments of the European Union (COSAC), to be held in Warsaw, Poland, 8-10 June 2025.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Elvira Kovacs, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Milan Radin, Stanislava Janosevic, Ana Miljanic, Goran Milic, Zdravko Mladenovic, Branislav Josifovic, Edin Numanovic, Dunja Simonovic Bratic, Zivota Starcevic, Dr Ana Jakovljevic, Dr Tijana Peric Diligenski and Robert Kozma.
