14th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 13 January 2026, the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered the following:

  1. Bill amending and modifying the Law on Seats and Territorial Jurisdiction of Courts and Public Prosecutor's Offices, submitted by MP Dr Ugljesa Mrdic, in principle;
  2. Bill amending the Law on the High Prosecutorial Council, submitted by MP Dr Ugljesa Mrdic, in principle;
  3. Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Organization and Competence of State Bodies for the Fight against High-Tech Crime, submitted by MP Dr Ugljesa Mrdic, in principle;
  4. Bill amending and modifying the Law on Public Prosecution, submitted by MP Dr Ugljesa Mrdic, in principle, and
  5. Bill amending the Law on Judges, submitted by MP Dr Ugljesa Mrdic, in principle.
Committee Chairman Dr Ugljesa Mrdic presented the bills and explained why they should be urgently adopted.

Following a discussion, the Committee adopted the bills by majority vote and proposed that the National Assembly accept them.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Ugljesa Mrdic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Goran Spasojevic, Dragan Nikolic, Jasmina Palurovic, Nikola Bokan, Lidija Nacic, Edin Numanovic, Djordje Komlenski, Boris Bajic, Risto Kostov, Verica Milanovic and Ana Krstic.
