13th Sitting of the Security Services Control Committee

At the sitting held on 31 March 2026, the Security Services Control Committee considered the Security Services Control Committee Report on the supervision conducted over the work of the Security Services in 2025.


The members of the Committee assessed positively the security services reports considered in 2025. The submitted reports were of high quality, comprehensive and provided a clear insight into the work and results of the security services. It was concluded that the work of the members of the security services in the implementation of both regular and extraordinary tasks was efficient, effective and provided adequate responses to all challenges, risks and threats to the security of the Republic of Serbia. The Committee determined that the security services worked in accordance with the law and within their competences and that they reacted in accordance with the authorities they have under the law in accordance with the scope of work and prescribed procedures.

In the reporting period, the Ministry of Defence Services’ Inspector General implemented all planned and extraordinary tasks in full and with quality, and achieved full cooperation with the directorates of the Military Intelligence and Military Security Agencies, which, according to the Committee, ensured the improvement of the quality, efficiency, legality and regularity of the agencies' work.

When considering the reports submitted to the Committee, it was noted that all relevant knowledge, assessments and analyses on security challenges, risks and threats were submitted to all competent state authorities in a timely manner.

The Committee members gave their full support to the further work of the security services, as well as their mutual cooperation in all aspects, which has proven to be a good practice in preserving the security of the Republic of Serbia and protecting vital national interests.

In order to better protect the rights and interests of citizens, the Committee will intensify cooperation with independent state bodies.

The following Committee members and deputy members participated in the discussion: MA Igor Becic, Dr Dusan Bajatovic, Jasmina Obradovic, Aleksandar Mirkovic and Aleksandar Ivanovic.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman MA Igor Becic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dr Dusan Bajatovic, Jasmina Obradovic, Aleksandar Mirkovic, Jasmina Karanac, Goran Rakic and Aleksandar Ivanovic.
