13th Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 17 June 2025, the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee considered the Ministry of the Interior Activity Information for the period July-September 2024, Ministry of the Interior Activity Information for the period October-December 2024 and the Ministry of the Interior Activity Information for the period 24 January-March 2025, presented by Minister Ivica Dacic.

Following a discussion, the Committee accepted the activity information and proposed that the National Assembly adopt them.

In the continuation, the Committee members considered the Internal Control Sector 2023 Activity Report and the Internal Control Sector 2024 Activity Report.

As item six on the agenda, the Committee considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia on Establishing Joint Controls at the Border Crossings for International Road Traffic Presevo (Republic of Serbia) and Tabanovce (Republic of North Macedonia), submitted by the Government and proposed to the National Assembly to adopt said Bill.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman MA Milovan Drecun, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Aleksandar Djukic, Darko Jovanovic, Ugljesa Markovic, Tomislav Jankovic, Aleksandar Pavic, Biljana Pantic Pilja, Zivota Starcevic, Milos Gnjidic, Zdravko Ponos, Prof. Dr Zoran Dragisic, Prof. Dr Marko Milenkovic and Bogdan Radovanovic.
