12th session of the Industry Committee
The Industry Committee held its twelfth session on 18 January. The session was chaired by Veroljub Stevanovic, and attended by the Minister of Mining and Energy, Radomir Naumov, with associates from the ministry.

The Committee endorsed the proposal of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the election of the chairperson and members of the Council of the Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia to be presented for adoption by the National Assembly. The Committee also endorsed the Proposal of the Decision Establishing the Energy Development Strategy of the Republic of Serbia to 2015.
The Conclusions of the Government of the Republic of Serbia with its associated report on measures necessary for the implementation of the Programme of Strategic Consolidation of Underground Coal Mines in 2005 were discussed at the session. The president of the Despotovac Municipal Assembly, Zlatko Dragosavljevic, and the chairman of the Commerce and Industry Committee of the Despotovac Municipal Assembly, Dr Mirko Ivkovic, took part in the debate.
