12th session of the Foreign Affairs Committee
At the session held on 17 January 2005, members of the Foreign Affairs Committee endorsed reports on official visits to Slovakia and Belgium, as well as reports on the visit to the State Duma of the Russian Federation and attendance at the “Towards a Southern European energy community” conference.

At the suggestion of Committee chairperson, Gordana Comic, the Foreign Affairs Committee is to devote its next session to discussing a resolution on independence for Kosovo, submitted to the United States House of Representatives by Congressman Tom Lantos, and the decision of the United States Department of State to withhold financial assistance to Serbia in 2005.
