12th Sitting of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee

At the sitting held on 7 February 2025, the members of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee considered the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Activity Information for the period 1 October – 31 December 2024.

The Committee also considered the amendment to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Animal Welfare and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Veterinary Medicine.

State Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Livija Pavicevic presented the Ministry’s Activity Information for the abovementioned period. Following a lengthy debate the Committee members adopted the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Activity Information for the period 1 October – 31 December 2024.

The Committee also adopted the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Animal Welfare and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Veterinary Medicine, submitted by MP Ivana Stamatovic, as well as the conclusion inviting the Government to give its opinion on the adopted bills.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Marijan Risticevic, and attended by the following Subcommittee members and deputy members: Radoslav Milojicic, Jozsef Tobias, Miroslav Aleksic, Milija Miletic, Dejan Bulatovic, Veroljub Matic, Dragan Jovanovic and Ivana Stamatovic.
