11th session of the Gender Equality Committee
The Gender Equality Committee held its eleventh session on 23 December. The session was chaired by Leila Ruzdic-Trifunovic.

The Committee discussed the Family Bill in principle. Representatives of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Issues took part in the debate.
Members of the Committee were informed of meetings with gender equality officials of local self-government bodies.
The Committee resolved to initiate the establishment of a Commission to deal with children’s rights.
