11th Sitting of the Health and Family Committee

At the sitting held on 26 August 2026, the Health and Family Committee considered, in detail, the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Protection of Persons with Mental Disabilities, submitted by the Government.

The MPs had submitted 23 amendments to the Bill, and the Government and the Committee accepted two, the amendments to articles 4 and 18.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Muamer Bacevac and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Prof. Dr Snezana Rakic, Prof. Dr Slobodan Milisavljevic, Prim. Dr Nada Macura, Prof. Dr sci.med.  Marija Zdravkovic, Prof. Dr Mirka Lukic Sarkanovic, Dr Ivan Rajicic, Goran Milic, Dr Lidija Sarac, Tatjana Nikolic, Marina Mijatovic, Katarina Stojanovic  and Elvira Kovacs.
