118th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 24 July 2019, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Enforcement and Security and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Special Conditions for Realization of Project Housing Construction for Members of the Security Forces.

Of the 132 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Enforcement and Security, the Committee members found two, submitted by MP Natasa Sp. Jovanovic to Article 21 and by MP Aleksandar Seselj to Article 26 not to comply with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia, while the rest, including the amendment submitted to Article 167 by the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government, were found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

Of the 32 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Special Conditions for Realization of Project Housing Construction for Members of the Security Forces, the Committee members found all, except the one submitted by MP Natasa Sp. Jovanovic to the title of the Bill, to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Djordje Komlenski and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Bojan Torbica, Jelena Zaric Kovacevic, Petar Petrovic, Aleksandra Majkic, Vesna Markovic, Srbislav Filipovic, Dr Balint Pasztor and Milena Corilic.
