10th session of the Privatisation Committee
The tenth session of the Privatisation Committee was held on 23 April.The Committee discussed the Information of the Privatisation Agency on current issues relating to the privatisation of Krusevac-based Zupa chemical plant.

The Committee discussed the Information of the Privatisation Agency on current issues relating to the privatisation of Krusevac-based Zupa chemical plant.
Members of the Privatisation Committee discussed the request of the Minority Shareholders Society to re-examine the privatisation process of Zdravlje Joint-Stock Company, a Leskovac-based pharmaceuticals company, the addition to the request made by shareholders of Belgrade’s Hempro Joint-Stock Company, a chemical plant, to re-examine the privatisation process, as well as information on the activities of UK-based Midland Resources and its participation in privatisation in Serbia.
The Committee also discussed the request made by the trade union of Knjazevac-based Tisa Joint-Stock Company to re-examine the purchase contract, the request submitted by Vukadin Dincic, CEO of Elid Electronics Plant Ltd, based in Donji Dusnik, to postpone privatisation, as well as the Information of the Privatisation Agency on current issues relating to the rights of the buyer of Belgrade-based retailer Gorica Joint-Stock Company arising from the purchase contract.
The Privatisation Committee requested the Privatisation Agency to prepare information on the privatisation process in the following companies, and submit it for: Belgrade-based tour operators Putnik and Srbija Turist, Vrnjacka Banja’s Autoprevoz transport company, Kosjeric-based clothing manufacturer Moda, as well as Nis-based car parts supplier Autoremont, Valjevo furniture maker Stefil, Bajina Basta-based Laminat, Aranjelovac-based Strela transport company and PKB Transport, another transport company, based in Kragujevac.
Besides members of the Privatisation Committee, the session was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Privatisation Agency, the Belgrade Stock Exchange, the Share Fund, the Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as representatives of submitters of requests.
