10th Sitting of the Health and Family Committee

At the sitting held on 28 October 2021, the members of the Health and Family Committee reviewed the Ministry of Health Activity Information for the period January - March 2021.

The activity information was presented by State Secretary at the Ministry of Health Aleksandar Stefoski who said in the reporting period the Ministry had conducted measures, in cooperation with other state bodies and institutions, to suppress the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic.

The State Secretary said that the Ministry worked intensely on approving and referring young doctors to specialist training, adopting 613 directives to that end.

Aleksandar Stefoski also spoke about the continuous work on the European integration process and harmonisation with the EU acquis. He also said that, in the reporting period, in addition to regular inspections, the Sanitary Inspection Department had also monitored the application of measures consistent with the current epidemiological situation.

Following the presentation, the Committee members unanimously accepted the Ministry of Health Activity Information for the period January - March 2021.

The Committee went on to consider the civic petitions it had received and forwarded them on to the relevant institutions for further handling.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Sci.med Darko Laketic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dragana Brankovic Mincic, Dr Vesna Ivkovic, Natasa Ivanovic, Svetlana Milijic, Ana Miljanic, Dr Dragana Barisic, Prof. Dr Goran Tasic, Dr Marko Bogdanovic, Milica Nikolic and Nevena Djuric.
