10th Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 19 July 2023, the members of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee considered the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Foreigners in principle and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Citizenship of the Republic of Serbia also in principle.

The Bills were presented by State Secretary at the Ministry of the Interior Zeljko Brkic.

Following a discussion, the Committee proposed, by majority vote, that the National Assembly accept the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Foreigners in principle and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Citizenship of the Republic of Serbia in principle.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Deputy Chairman Aleksandar Markovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Tomislav Jankovic, Goran Milic, Borko Puskic, Jasmina Obradovic, Dragana Miljanic, Vladan Zagrađanin, Milan Glusac, Biljana Pantic Pilja, Dragan Markovic and Nikola Dragicevic.
