The Committee ascertained that the resignation of MPs Annamaia Vicsek and Attila Juhasz falls within the situation set out in article 88 of the Law on Election of MPs and article 198 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure according to which resignation is listed as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office before the expiry of the term they were elected for, thus proposing that the National Assembly note the termination of the abovementioned MPs’ term of office as stipulated by article 88, paragraphs 3 and 4 of the same Law.
