The Head of the standing delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Prof. Dr Zoran Dragisic and delegation members Goran Rakic and Aleksandar Markovic, are taking part in the 109th Rose-Roth Seminar entitled “The future of the Republic of Moldova within the Euro-Atlantic community: the lessons learned in the process of building resilience in a strategic environment marked by numerous challenges”, held on 6 and 7 October 2026 in Chisinau.
In his meeting with the Moldovan Minister of Defence, Anatolie Nosatîi, Head of the delegation Prof. Dr Zoran Dragisic thanked Moldova for the participation of the members of its army in KFOR, highlighting the difficult position of Serbs in the territory of Kosovo-Metohija. In the meeting with the President of the NATO PA, Marcos Perestrello, he emphasised the good cooperation the standing delegation enjoyed over the past two years, during which Perestrello’s chaired the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
The participants discussed the development of relations between Moldova and NATO, the security situation in the Black Sea Region, energy security as a key component of national security, and strengthening resilience against malicious foreign influences.
The event was attended by, among others, speakers: President of the Parliament of Moldova Igor Grosu, Minister of Defence, Anatolie Nosatîi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popsoi, President of the NATO PA, Marcos Perestrello (Portugal), as well as the NATO Secretary General Special Representative for the Caucasus and South Asia Kevin Hamilton.
The members of the National Assembly delegation held a series of meetings on the sidelines of the gathering, including with members of the Azerbaijani, Italian, Moldovan, Portuguese, Romanian and Slovenian delegations.
