National Assembly's Standing Delegation at PACE June Session in Strasbourg

The National Assembly's standing delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will be participating in the third part of the PACE regular session, to be held next week in Strasbourg.


In the course of the June session the PACE will discuss the request for the opening of a monitoring procedure in respect of Hungary, corruption as a threat to the rule of law, discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity, as well as the situation in the Middle East.

The PACE members will be addressed by the President of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz, and the PACE is also supposed to elect judges to the European Court of Human Rights from Slovakia, Lithuania and Iceland.

The National Assembly's delegation to the PACE June session will comprise Aleksandra Djurovic, Head of the delegation, and delegation members Milos Aligrudic, Natasa Vuckovic, Vesna Marjanovic, Svetislava Bulajic, Stefana Miladinovic and Katarina Rakic.

The PACE June session will be taking place from 24 to 28 June 2013.
