Invitation for Info-Session on “Week of Parliamentarism”
The National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and Open Parliament, with the support of USAID and the UK Embassy in Belgrade, invite you to an info-session on the “Week of Parliamentarism”, to be held in the Small Hall of the National Assembly House on Tuesday, 2 June 2015, starting at 11 am.
At the info session, we will present the “Week of Parliamentarism” concept, details of organisation and ways in which different factors such as local self-government organisations, civil society, cultural and educational institutions can become partners of the “Week of Parliamentarism”, how to take part in the discussion on parliamentary democracy and organise their own events during the Week.
The guests of the “Week of Parliamentarism” info session will be Penny McLean and Emily Unell, members of the UK Parliament’s team that has been organising “Parliament Week” in the UK since 2011. They will share their experiences, advice and suggestions for a successful organisation of events and inclusion of as many citizens as possible into the “Week of Parliamentarism” in Serbia.
Please confirm your participation by Friday, 29 May 2015, at infosluzba@parlament.rs .
