Third Sitting of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications
At the sitting held on 9 June, the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications discussed, in principle, the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Electronic Communications and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Postal Services, submitted by the Government.
The Bill amending and modifying the Law on Electronic Communications was elaborated by Prof. Dr Irini Reljin of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications. In the course of her address, Prof. Dr Reljin pointed out the importance of passing said Bill and listed the main reasons for the amendments and modifications to the Law on Electronic Communications. Following a short debate, the Committee members unanimously decided to accept the Bill.
Marija Vucinic of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications provided the rationale for the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Postal Services, which the Committee unanimously accepted.
The sitting was chaired by Milutin Mrkonjic, Committee Chairman.
