Security Services Control Committee Chairman, MA Igor Becic, Meets with Dean of Faculty of International Politics and Security, Prof. Dr Violeta Raskovic Talovic and Prof. Dr Miroslav Stevanovic

The Chairman of the Security Services Control Committee, MA Igor Becic, met today with the Dean of the Faculty of International Politics and Security, Prof. Dr Violeta Raskovic Talovic, and Prof. Dr Miroslav Stevanovic, to discuss the importance of the connection between the academic community and the institutions in the security sector.

Dean, Prof. Dr Violeta Raskovic Talovic, and Prof. Dr. Miroslav Stevanovic informed the Committee Chairman about the project they are working on, which concerns a theoretical-methodological approach to threat assessment, which, with its importance, goes beyond the academic framework and gains national significance.

They exchanged views and opinions on current security challenges, risks and threats, the importance of scientific research and the role of the academic community in the improvement and development of the security sector.

The participants of the meeting agreed that cooperation with the academic community is of great importance for the development of modern approaches in the field of security, as well as for the improvement of mutual cooperation in the interest of strengthening professional capacities and improving the security system.
