Representatives of the legal services of the Chinese company China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), one of the largest state-owned construction corporations in the world, 100% state-owned by the People's Republic of China, met today with the Chairman of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Marijan Risticevic, and the Chairman of the Environmental Protection Committee, Milimir Vujadinovic.

The participants of the meeting presented the activities, capacities and reference projects of CSCEC, a globally present company and one of the world's leading contractors in the field of building and civil engineering, as well as infrastructure projects of strategic importance. The company operates in dozens of countries around the world and is engaged in the implementation of large projects in the fields of road infrastructure, water management systems, housing construction and energy.

In the course of conversation, they expressed special interest in possible future investments and cooperation with the Republic of Serbia, with a focus on wastewater treatment projects, improvement of water management infrastructure and agricultural irrigation systems, which have a significant impact on environmental protection and agricultural development.

Environmental Protection Committee Chairman Milimir Vujadinovic stressed that it is always a pleasure to see the interest of international investors in projects in Serbia, emphasising that the National Assembly will always be ready to provide appropriate legislative frameworks that contribute to the further strengthening of economic cooperation and overall economic development, as well as the improvement of relations between the Republic of Serbia and the People's Republic of China.
