National Assembly Speaker Has Bilateral Meetings on Sidelines of Conference of Speakers of Parliament of EU Candidate Countries
On the sidelines of the Conference of Speakers of Parliaments of EU Candidate Countries, National Assembly Speaker, Ana Brnabic, met with the heads of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, and the Parliament of Georgia.
The National Assembly Speaker stressed that it was an honour to meet with her colleagues Ruslan Stefanchuk, Igor Grosu, and Shalva Papuashvili.
The Conference of Speakers of Parliaments of EU Candidate Countries will be held on 7 and 8 July 2026 in Belgrade, and is organised by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in cooperation with the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The objective of the Conference is to establish a permanent format of cooperation among the heads of parliaments of candidate countries for membership in the European Union, based on regular dialogue, exchange of experiences and joint initiatives.
