Emphasising the traditionally good and friendly relations between the two countries, Vujkovic stressed that there is ample room to advance cooperation between Serbia and Denmark especially in the field of healthcare and mitigating the impact of climate change. He believes that out country could gain a great deal from Denmark’s experience especially good practice examples in the transition to “green” economy and entrepreneurship.

The Ambassador shared the information and experiences of the results Denmark has achieved in repairing the consequences of climate change and effects of the transition to green energy sources. She stressed that Denmark was also interested in strengthening and building its relations with Serbia because it sees an important European partner in it. In light of this the Ambassador stressed that Denmark strongly supports Serbia on its road to full membership in the European Union.

Dr Branko Vujkovic said that for President Aleksandar Vucic and the Government Eurointegration remains foreign policy number one, and the focus is preserving peace and stability in the region.

The Ambassador announced the visit of a delegation of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Denmark in early November, stressing that it would be an excellent opportunity for the parliamentarians to meet and discuss topics of importance, as well as plan future steps of cooperation.
