Fourth Special Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 14th Legislature
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic convened the Fourth Special Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 14th Legislature, for Wednesday, 17 June 2026, starting at 10 am.
The following agenda was set for the sitting: Oath-taking of the President of the Supreme Court.
The Speaker reminded the attending that pursuant to Article 84, paragraph 4 of the Law on Judges, the President of the Supreme Court takes the oath of office before the High Judicial Council and the National Assembly and asked the President of the Supreme Court to come forth and take the oath.
Having taken the oath, Miroljub Tomic addressed the MPs.
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia congratulated the newly-elected President of the Supreme Court on behalf of the MPs and on her own behalf and wished him success.
Afterwards, the Speaker concluded the Fourth Special Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 14th Legislature.
