First Sitting of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications
As stipulated in article 25, paragraph 1 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, the first sitting of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications, held on 25 September 2012, was convened by the National Assembly Speaker.
Pending the election of Committee Chairperson, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, MP Slobodan Jeremic, from the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia (PUPS) Parliamentary Group.
The Committee members unanimously elected Dejan Radenkovic, from the Socialist Party of Serbia Parliamentary Group, Committee Chairman.
Having taken over the chairmanship of the sitting, the Chairman informed the Committee members that they would be electing the Committee Deputy Chairperson at one of the upcoming sittings.
