Eighth Sitting of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy

At the sitting held on 3 March 2025, the members of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy considered, in principle, a number of bills within their purview.

On behalf of the submitters, the sitting was attended by Dragan Ugricic, Assistant Minister of Economy and associates, and Olivera Jocic, Assistant Minister of Domestic and Foreign Trade and associates, who presented the bills.

Following a debate, the Committee adopted, in principle the Bill on Central Register of Beneficial Owners, Bill amending the Law on the Right to Free Shares and Financial Compensation to the Citizens in the Privatisation Process, Bill amending the Law on Companies, Bill amending the Law on Privatisation, Bill on the Confirmation of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the United Arab Emirates and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Free Trade Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt, submitted by the Government.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Snezana Paunovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Nikola Radosavljevic, Dragana Arsic, Miroslav Kondic, Stanislava Janosevic, Tijana Davidovac, Dragan Stanojevic, Dalibor Jekic, Zivota Starcevic, Dragana Radinovic, Zeljko Veselinovic, Goran Nikolic and Prof. Dr Miloljub Albijanic.
