60th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending
At the sitting held on 31 July, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending considered the resignation tendered to the post of President of the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures by Sasa Varinac.
The Committee formulated the Proposal of the Decision on the termination of office of President of the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures due to resignation, to be submitted to the National Assembly for deliberation and ruling.
The Committee members then proceeded to authorise Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic to launch proceedings for the election of president and two members of the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures once the necessary conditions are met viz. when the Law amending and modifying the Public Procurement Law comes into force.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic.
