50th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

At the sitting held on 29 May 2026, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending considered the following: the Bill on the Provision of a Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of Postal Savings Bank, Joint Stock Company, Belgrade, for the Settlement of the Obligations of the Joint Stock Company for Railway Passenger Transport "Srbiavoz" Belgrade, on the Basis of a Long-Term Loan Agreement for the Implementation of the Project for the Procurement of 30 New Electric Train Transporters for the Urban-Suburban Railway System, submitted by the Government, in principle, Bill on the Confirmation of the Guarantee between the Republic of Serbia represented by the Government of the Republic of Serbia acting by and through the Ministry of Finance, as Guarantor, and Deutsche Bank, Sociedad Anónima Española Unipersonal, as Mandated Lead Arranger, and Deutsche Bank AG, as Original Lender, and Deutsche Bank AG, as Agent, relating to an EUR 263,874,992.80 CESCE-Supported Facility Agreement, submitted by the Government, Agency for the Prevention of Corruption 2025 Activity Report, submitted by the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, and the Commission for State Aid Control 2025 Activity Report, submitted by the Commission for State Aid Control.


The sitting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Finance, Public Debt Directorate Dragan Babic and Stefan Milanovic who the presented bills to the Committee members.

The Committee decided, by majority vote, to propose that the National Assembly accept the bills.

On behalf of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption the sitting was attended by President Dejan Damnjanovic, who presented the Agency’s 2025 Activity Report, and following a brief discussion the Committee adopted, by majority vote, a Conclusion Proposal accepting the reviewed Activity Report. The Committee forwarded the Conclusion Proposal to the National Assembly, under urgent procedure, pursuant to Article 167 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.

The Commission for State Aid Control 2025 Activity Report was presented by acting president Dragica Jorgovic, and following a discussion the Committee adopted, by majority vote, a Conclusion Proposal accepting the reviewed Activity Report. The Committee forwarded the Conclusion Proposal to the National Assembly, under urgent procedure, pursuant to Article 167 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Nikola Lazic, MA Svetlana Milijic, Nikola Radosavljevic, Tijana Davidovac, Nenad Krstic, Vojislav Vujic, Ilo Mihajlovski, Mgr Akos Ujhelyi, Branko Pavlovic, Dusan Nikezic, Miroslav Aleksic, Ugljesa Markovic and Nevena Veinovic.
