37th Sitting of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications
At the sitting held on 21 July, the members of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications discussed and accepted the Bill on Investigation of Air, Rail and Water Traffic Accidents, Bill modifying the Law on Obligations and the Basics of Property Relations in Air Transport, in principle, and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Air Transport Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the United States of America.
Ilic said that the Bill on Investigation of Air, Rail and Water Traffic Accidents focuses on improving the safety levels of Serbia’s transport system to ensure independent and reliable investigation of air, rail and water traffic accidents.
Speaking of the Bill modifying the Law on Obligations and the Basics of Property Relations in Air Transport, Ilic stressed that it aims to eliminate the noted terminological flaws and enable a more efficient application and interpretation of the existing Law Obligations and the Basics of Property Relations in Air Transport.
The Bill on the Confirmation of the Air Transport Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the United States of America aims to establish long-term legal grounds for the improvement of relations between the two countries by regulating the relations in the area of air transport between the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the United States of America, concluded the acting Assistant Minister.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Milutin Mrkonjic.
