26th Sitting of the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society

At the sitting held on 8 July 2026, the members of the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and Information Society considered in detail the Bill amending the Law on Prevention of Doping in Sports and the Bill on the Legal Status of International Sports Federations Based in the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was attended by Minister of Sport Zoran Gajic who verbally informed the Committee about the Government’s opinion on the submitted amendments.

Of the four amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Prevention of Doping in Sports, the Government and the Committee accepted the amendment to Article 3 submitted by MP Marijan Risticevic, while the remaining three were not accepted.

Of the five amendments submitted to the Bill on the Legal Status of International Sports Federations Based in the Republic of Serbia, the Government and the Committee accepted the two amendments submitted to articles 7 and 14 submitted by MP Marijan Risticevic, while the rest were not accepted.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Slađana Susnjar, Ana Miljanic, Goran Spasojevic, Biljana Ilic Stosic, Zivota Starcevic, Zdravko Mladenovic, Nikola Lazic, Vesna Djurisic, Branko Lukic and Sanja Dzajic.
