23rd Sitting of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications
At the sitting held on 17 June 2026, the members of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications considered the Report of the Working Group tasked with ascertaining the compliance with requirements in the procedure of nomination of candidates for the election of Chair and four members of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (RATEL).
The Chairman of the Working Group tasked with ascertaining the compliance with requirements in the procedure of nomination of candidates for the election of Chair and four members of the RATEL Council Tomislav Jankovic presented the Report and informed the Committee about the applications received in a timely manner. As he said, 17 candidates had applied for the election of Chair and four members of the RATEL Council. The Working Group had reviewed the applications and accompanying documentation and noted that all the nominated candidates comply with requirements.
The nine candidates nominated for Chair of RATEL Council that the Committee had interviewed at the sitting are: Mirko Vujadinovic, Prof. Dr Momcilo Dobrodolac, Doc. Dr Mihailo Jovanovic, Prof. Dr Goran Markovic, Radenko Milovanovic, Boban Panajotovic, Aleksandar Rajkovic, Prof. Dr Bojan Stanivukovic and Mira Stevanovic.
Having interviewed said candidates, the Committee adjourned the sitting and will continue in on Thursday, 18 June 2026, at 11 am.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Ugljesa Markovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Sanja Dzajic, Miroslav Petrasinovic, Dragan Jovanovic, Branislav Josifovic, Vesna Djurisic, Vesna Savovic-Petkovic, Miljana Milojevic, Nenad Filipovic, Dr Tatjana Markovic-Topalovic and Tomislav Jankovic.
In the continuation of the 23rd Sitting of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications, held on 18 June 2026, the Committee members interviewed the remaining candidates for the election of Chair and four members of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services: Mladenka Blagojevic, Bratislav Blagojevic, Marko Kostic, Lazar Mosurovic, Slobodan Nedeljkovic, Snezana Petrovic and Slobodan Ristic.
The Committee Chairman informed the Committee members that candidate Dr Aco Stevanovic had withdrawn his candidacy, so that the list of candidates for the election of Chair and four members of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services contain 16 candidates in total.
Having interviewed the candidates, the Committee adjourned the sitting and the Committee members and deputy members will be duly informed about its continuation.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Ugljesa Markovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Sanja Dzajic, Miroslav Petrasinovic, Dragan Jovanovic, Branislav Josifovic, Vesna Savovic-Petkovic, Miljana Milojevic, Nenad Filipovic, Dr Tatjana Markovic-Topalovic and Tomislav Jankovic.
The 23rd sitting of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications was continued on 25 June 2026.
The Committee members established, by majority vote, the Proposal of the List containing one candidate for the election of Chair of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services. The candidate who won the required majority was Mirko Vujadinovic.
The Committee decided to propose to the National Assembly that the Proposal of the List of Candidates for the election of Chair of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services, be considered under urgent procedure, as per Article 167 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
The Committee members the established, by majority vote, the Proposal of the List of Candidates for the election of four members of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services. The candidates who won the required majority were Doc. Dr Mihailo Jovanovic, Slobodan Nedeljkovic, Snezana Petrovic and Mira Stevanovic.
The Committee decided to propose to the National Assembly that the Proposal of the List of Candidates for the election of four members of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services, be considered under urgent procedure, as per Article 167 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
