20th Sitting of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy
At the sitting held on 20 April 2026, the members of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy considered, in detail, the Bill on Consumer Protection, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Trade, and the Bill on Trade Practices for Certain Types of Products, submitted by the Government.
The Committee also considered the amendments submitted to the Strategy Proposal for the Management of Mineral and Other Geological Resources of the Republic of Serbia until 2040 with projections to 2050, submitted by the Government.
The sitting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Domestic and Foreign Trade and the Ministry of Mining and Energy.
Of the 63 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill on Consumer Protection, the Government and the Committee accepted one. The Government also submitted three amendments of its own to the Bill, which the Committee accepted.
Of the 42 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Trade, the Government and the Committee accepted one. The Government also submitted one amendment of its own to the Bill, which the Committee accepted.
The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 26 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill on Trade Practices for Certain Types of Products.
The Government and the Committee accepted neither of the two amendments submitted to the Strategy Proposal for the Management of Mineral and Other Geological Resources of the Republic of Serbia until 2040 with projections to 2050.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Dusan Bajatovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Nikola Radosavljevic, Miljana Milojevic, Goran Nikolic, Olivera Denic, Miroslav Kondic, Slobodan Cvejic, Tijana Davidovac, Snezana Jovanovic, Ana Beloica Martac and Vojislav Vujic.
