16th Sitting of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy

At the sitting held on 4 September 2023, the members of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy considered the Bill amending and modifying the Republic of Serbia 2023 Budget Law, Section 21 – Ministry of Economy, Section 28 – Ministry of Mining and Energy, Section 32 - Ministry of Domestic and Foreign Trade and Section 62 – Ministry of Tourism, in principle.


The Bill was presented by representative of the Ministry of Finance Ivan Prvulovic. The Committee members proposed, by majority vote, that the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending accept the Bill, in principle.

Committee Chairman MA Dejan Radenkovic was appointed the Committee rapporteur to the sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending.

The Committee also considered the Bill on the Management of Companies Owned by the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the Government, presented by Assistant Minister of Economy Dubravka Drakulic.

Following a debate, the Committee members proposed that the National Assembly accept the Bill on the Management of Companies Owned by the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee went on to appoint two Committee members to take part in the joint workshop of regional Green Parliamentary Groups, viz. National Assembly Deputy Speaker Snezana Paunovic and MP Nikola Radosavljevic.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman MA Dejan Radenkovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dr Aleksandra Tomic, Dr Zivan Bajic, Zoran Tomic, Veroljub Arsic, Tijana Davidovac, Nikola Radosavljevic, Radovan Tvrdisic, Snezana Paunovic, Dalibor Jekic, Bojana Bukumirovic, Pavle Grbovic and Zivota Starcevic.

The Committee sitting was also attended by MP Radmila Vasic.
