Delegation in the Parliamentary Assembly of Francophonie

Parliamentary Assembly of Francophonie represents a place for debates, exchange of proposals and opinions about various topics such as: liberties and political rights, parliaments and communication, Francophone economic area, education, and the status of French language in international organizations. In close cooperation with the International Organization of La Francophonie, the Parliamentary Assembly of Francophonie undertakes activities in the area of inter-parliamentary cooperation and the development of democracy aimed at the strengthening of solidarity among the parliamentary institutions and at promotion of democracy and the rule of law.

A plenary session is organized once a year.

Our country has been a permanent observer since 2008.

Latest activities

  • The National Assembly celebrated International Francophonie Day on 30 March 2021, hosted by the Head of the National Assembly’s standing delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie MA Jadranka Jovanovic. The celebration of International Francophonie Day was also attended by ambassadors of Francophone countries, member states of the International Organisation of La Francophonie, Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie, Francophone representatives of international organisations in Belgrade, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.
