The National Assembly Facilities Maintenance Sector deals with the investment, technical and running maintenance of the National Assembly premises; protection and maintenance of cultural heritage used and managed by the National Assembly; analysis and planning oftechnical and technological working conditions development; construction, reconstruction, development, adaptation, rehabilitation, restoration, conservation, interior and exterior design and decoration, as well as cleaning and sanitation of the buildings, premises, installations, facilities, machines, appliances and equipment used and managed by the National Assembly.

The National Assembly Facilities Maintenance Sector comprises the:


1) Investment Facility Maintenance, Cultural Heritage Protection and Maintenance Group

2) Technical and Running Maintenance Department and

3) Sanitation Section.

Investment Facility Maintenance, Cultural Heritage Protection and Maintenance Group

The Investment Facility Maintenance, Cultural Heritage Protection and Maintenance Group performs tasks relating to the: analysis of the existing situation and prediction of the National Assembly’s short-term and long-term needs relating to technical and technological working conditions; drafting of long-term and short-term development plan proposals, long-term and short-term investment plan proposals and preparation of the Assembly’s budget proposal and annual public procurement plan pertaining to the field of investment maintenance,interior and exterior design and decoration, construction, reconstruction, additions, adaptation, rehabilitation, restoration and conservation of the buildings, offices and premises used by the National Assembly; implementation of cultural heritage protection measures; preparation of acts from the sphere of cultural heritage protection and use; implementation of cultural heritage protection measures; restoration and conservation of movable and immobile cultural heritage, as well as presentation and drafting of cultural heritage publications.

Technical and Running Maintenance Department

The Technical and Running Maintenance Department performs tasks relating to the: technical and running maintenance of the buildings, premises, installations, facilities, appliances and equipment; functionality of existing technical installation systems, appliances and equipment in the buildings; planning of activities relating to their functioning, maintenance and upgrading, drafting of technical and running maintenance plans and planning funds for their realisation; maintenance and control of plumbing installations, furniture and equipment in the buildings; maintenance and control of air-conditioning, ventilation systems, heating and cooling in the National Assembly buildings, as well as disinfection, insect and rodent control of the buildings and premises used by the National Assembly.

Sanitation Section

The Sanitation Section performs tasks relating to the sanitation and maintenance of adequate hygiene of the National Assembly buildings and premises.
