The Cabinet of the National Assembly Speaker conducts the following business: analyses and processes acts discussed by the National Assembly and other acts forwarded to the National Assembly Speaker and Deputy Speakers; organises and coordinates activities concerning the realisation of cooperation between the National Assembly Speaker and state authorities, organisations and bodies, as well as international organisations and institutions; prepares information, expert analyses and opinions for the needs of the National Assembly Speaker and Deputy Speakers; prepares agenda and other material important for the National Assembly Speaker and/or Deputy Speakers’ participation at the meetings of the Collegium, conferences, roundtables and other gatherings, as well as material for meetings with foreign delegations and guests; prepares the National Assembly’s annual work programme; organises official travels and public appearances of the National Assembly Speaker and Deputy Speakers; provides professional and clerical services for the parliamentary groups at the National Assembly; communicates with the citizens and is involved in the organisation and realisation of citizens’ visits to the National Assembly and performs other tasks important for the performance of the duty of National Assembly Speaker and Deputy Speakers.
