NATIONAL ASSEMBLY SPEAKER SENDS TELEGRAMS OF CONDOLENCES TO PORTUGUESE AND MOROCCAN PARLIAMENT SPEAKERS

On the behalf of the deputies and herself, National Assembly Speaker Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic sent telegrams of condolences to the Portuguese and Moroccan Parliament Speakers after last weekend’s disasters that struck their citizens with tragic consequences.

On Friday, 19 February, at least 41 people died and over 70 were injured in the sudden collapse of a minaret in Morocco.

Since Saturday, 20 February, at least 32 people have died in the floods and landslides caused by heavy rain on the Portuguese island of Madeira, say the telegrams of condolences.
