Third Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2015
At the request of 227 MPs, National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic convened the Third Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2015 for Thursday, 22 January 2015, starting at 10 am.
1. Bill on Prevention and Diagnosis of Genetic Disorders, Genetically Determined Anomalies and Rare Disorders, submitted by MP Prof. Dr Dusan Milisavljevic.
Before moving on to the agenda, the heads i.e. authorised representatives of the parliamentary groups, MPs Vojislav Vujic, Mirko Cikiriz, Enis Imamovic, Dr Janko Veselinovic, Ivan Jovanovic and Zoran Babic, requested information and explanations in line with article 287 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
The National Assembly then commenced a debate in principle on the Bill on Prevention and Diagnosis of Genetic Disorders, Genetically Determined Anomalies and Rare Disorders.

On the behalf of the MPs and herself, the Chair, National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic, greeted the parents of Zoja Mirosavljevic who followed part of the session from the gallery of the Grand Hall.
By the end of the day, the National Assembly had completed the debate in principle on the Bill on Prevention and Diagnosis of Genetic Disorders, Genetically Determined Anomalies and Rare Disorders.
On the second day of the proceedings, 23 January, the National Assembly commenced a debate in detail on the Bill on Prevention and Diagnosis of Genetic Disorders, Genetically Determined Anomalies and Rare Disorders.
At the proposal of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues, the National Assembly noted the termination of the term of office of MP Vladeta Kostic, on the day he tendered his resignation, before the expiry of the term he was elected for.

As the National Assembly had concluded the debate in detail on the Bill on Prevention and Diagnosis of Genetic Disorders, Genetically Determined Anomalies and Rare Disorders, National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic set Friday, 23 January 2015, as Voting Day on the only item on the agenda for the Third Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2015, starting at 6 pm.
Voting Day
On Voting Day, 23 January, by a majority vote, the National Assembly passed the Bill on Prevention and Diagnosis of Genetic Disorders, Genetically Determined Anomalies and Rare Disorders.
As the National Assembly had completed the debate on the only item on the agenda and ruled on it, National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic, concluded the Third Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2015.
