Serbian Government’s Coordination Body for Gender Equality and Women’s Parliamentary Network Sign Protocol of Cooperation

The signatories of the Protocol of Cooperation, Coordinator of the Women’s Parliamentary Network Gordana Comic and President Serbian Government’s Coordination Body for Gender Equality Zorana Mihajlovic said that joint work on the empowerment of women supersedes all other interests.

“There are no forced, no morally suitable strategies, there are only chosen strategies. Our chosen strategy is to work together, that the empowerment of women supersedes all other interests, political and otherwise, because equality is what we strive for and will continue to strive for in future”, said Mihajlovic.

WPN Coordinator Gordana Comic said that the signatures on the Protocol are not personal – they represent the signatures of tens and hundreds of women in the Assembly, Government and the entire country who want to implement the regulations concerning women’s and human rights. Comic urged to cooperation all who believe that there are topics worthy of dialogue, necessary to improve the quality of living of both men and women.
