Newly-Elected Judges Take Oath of Office Before National Assembly Speaker and Supreme Court President

Judges elected to office for the first time at High Judicial Council sessions held on 10 October, 24 October, 14 November and 28 November 2024, as well as at sessions held on 30 January, 6 March and 20 March 2025, took the oath of office on Friday, 16 May 2025, before the President of the Supreme Court Jasmina Vasovic and National Assembly Speaker Ana Brnabic.

The newly-elected judges pledged to abide by the Constitution and laws and to perform their duty as best they know and can and serve only truth and justice.

The oath of office was taken by judges of the basic courts in Kursumlija, Novi Sad, Uzice, Mladenovac, Arandjelovac, Zajecar, Jagodina, Loznica, Novi Pazar, Pancevo, Paracin, Prijepolje, Smederevo, Cacak, Sabac, Krusevac, Trstenik, Aleksinac, Vranje, Leskovac and Pirot, as well as the Misdemeanour Court in Belgrade.
