The National Assembly delegation is headed by Stefana Miladinovic and comprises Meho Omerovic, Dusica Stojkovic and Milimir Vujadinovic.

Before the plenary the delegation had a bilateral meeting with the Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich. The meeting was also attended by MP Dragomir Karic, Head of the National Assembly’s Parliamentary Friendship Group with Belarus.

The officials agreed how essential parliamentary cooperation is to strengthen overall bilateral relations. They affirmed the traditionally friendly relations between the two nations and their representatives, also adding that there is ample room to strengthen investment, scientific, technological, cultural and sporting cooperation.

Stefana Miladinovic, the Head of the National Assembly’s standing delegation to OSCE PA, urged to strengthen parliamentary cooperation especially within international parliamentary organizations. The Head of the PFG with Belarus Dragomir Karic said that the PFG with Belarus is one of the largest in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia which speaks volumes about the friendship between the two parliaments and nations.

Chairman Myasnikovich said that the Republic of Belarus would continue to support Serbia’s territorial sovereignty and integrity in all international forums.
