National Assembly Deputy Speaker Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic Meets with Montenegrin Parliament Deputy Speaker Branimir Gvozdenovic

National Assembly Deputy Speaker Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic met today with Montenegrin Parliament Deputy Speaker Branimir Gvozdenovic to discuss advancing the bilateral relations between the two countries.

National Assembly Deputy Speaker Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic said that Serbia and Montenegro are very close countries and natural allies, so maintaining an open dialogue on topics of mutual interest and significance is essential.

Montenegrin Parliament Deputy Speaker Branimir Gvozdenovic highlighted the importance of cooperation between parliamentarians as elected representatives of the people and spoke about advancing interparliamentary cooperation by exchanging visits Serbian and Montenegrin parliamentary friendship group members.

The officials agreed that economic cooperation and trade could stand to be furthered, as could cooperation related to European integration.
