MP Laszlo Varga at 48th Conference of Parliamentary Committees for Union Affairs of EU Parliaments in Nicosia
Laszlo Varga, European Integration Committee Deputy Chairman, will take part in the 48th Conference of the Parliamentary Committees for Union Affairs of Parliaments of the European Union (EU-COSAC), to be held on 15 and 16 October 2012, in Nicosia, Cyprus.
The participants of the Conference will discuss the priorities of the Cyprus presidency of the European Union Council, energy supply safety, Europe 2020 Strategy - recovery from the economic crisis and single-market governance, and at the end of the Conference they intend to adopt conclusions.
The members of the National Assembly’s European Integration Committee have been taking part in the Conferences of the Parliamentary Committees for Union Affairs of Parliaments of the European Union (EU-COSAC) since Serbia gained European Union candidate status.
