Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality Committee Delegation Visits Bosnia and Herzegovina Parliamentary Assembly

A delegation of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia will be visiting the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 25 and 26 September 2013.


The Committee delegation comprises Committee Chairman Meho Omerovic, and Committee members Vera Paunovic, Zlata Djeric and Teodora Vlahovic. On the occasion, the Committee delegation will meet with the Joint Committee on Human Rights, Children’s Rights, Youth, Immigration, Refugees, Asylum and Ethics, Committee on Gender Equality, BiH Institution of Human Rights Ombudsman, Gender Equality Agency, as well as the Human Rights Centre of the University of Sarajevo.
The meetings will focus on the role and activities of parliamentary committees in the protection of human rights, experiences garnered in the European Union accession process, and opportunities to boost regional cooperation.
The visit is organised with the support of the OSCE Mission to Serbia.
