Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality Committee Chairman Talks to Representatives of Non-Governmental Sector and International Organisations
Yesterday, the Chairman of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality, Meho Omerovic, spoke with the representatives of the National Democratic Institute, organisation TransConflict Serbia and representatives of project Civic activism in south-west Serbia.
They also discussed the current problem of the elementary school final exam and the oversights made on the occasion, as well as where the responsibility lies, noting that education is the cornerstone and the future of the country.
In addition to the Chairman of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality, the meeting was attended by MPs Mujo Mukovic, Branka Karavidic and Srdjan Milivojevic.
Project Civic activism in south-west Serbia, conducted jointly by NDI and TransConflict Serbia, aims to provide young people from five municipalities, Novi Pazar, Priboj, Prijepolje, Raska and Sjenica, with skills and knowledge about human rights.
