The officials shared their mutual pleasure at the traditionally friendly relations between Serbia and Cuba, pointing out the solid historical ties between the two nations.

Greeting the newly-appointed Ambassador, Prof. Dr Ljubisa Stojmirovic said that the Friendship Group with Cuba is one of the biggest at the National Assembly. Stojmirovic suggested developing cooperation between the two countries’ higher education institutions which would enable university student and professor exchanges.

Ambassador Ruiz Garcia said she intended to continue the successful cooperation the Friendship Group had started with the former Cuban Ambassador to Serbia.
